From the Emanuel School
Teachers that are passionate about their subjects and have the ability and abilities to pass on their knowledge inspire and assist our students in realising their wide range of goals. One of the main factors contributing to Emanuel's transformation into such a good, joyful, and meaningful atmosphere is the established trust between students and staff, supported by the parents. Beyond the classroom, we encourage every pupil to take an active part in the daily co-curricular life of the school, fulfilling personal aims and learning to feel proud of their contributions to their house, year, club or team. Busy students typically do well, gaining confidence from their possibilities and gaining access to large social networks. Our pastoral care philosophy, which is based on Christian principles, is based on kindness and mutual respect. We want every child to have a positive self-image and to treat others with respect and empathy. With numerous opportunities for outreach and charity work, we hope that our pupils learn the value and sense of personal fulfilment to be found in helping those less fortunate than themselves. We are extremely proud of our school, its fascinating history, and its welcoming and vibrant community. I invite you to visit us at one of our public events.
