From the School
Welcome to the webpage for Edale Primary School. While browsing the website, I hope you find all you need and get a good sense of what a fun place Edale is to be. I'm honoured to serve as the head of school at Edale. Having ventured down the road from Hope Primary School, where I spent several years as a senior teacher and SENCO, I am so excited to lead the team here at Edale and to ensure that our wonderful children get the best opportunities in such an inspirational environment. Being a tiny school is one of Edale's unique characteristics. Children are currently served by two classes: The Swallow's Class, which includes Reception, Year 1, 2, and 3 students, and the Eagle's Class (Year 6 pupils). Both working in small groups and spending devoted 1:1 time with staff members are beneficial to our kids. This implies that our kids can learn quickly and that we have individualised plans in place for each and every one of them. We are passionate about embracing the outdoors, and our Swallows class regularly visits our very own woodland schools area (Edale Island). The two institutions have just lately formalised their partnership. Two tiny primary schools joining forces for the benefit of all students, utilising the strengths and talents of each institution while sharing resources including facilities, senior leaders, and senior teaching personnel. You are more than welcome to visit the school if you would like. Please get in touch with the office so we can schedule a time for you to visit and learn more about the amazing opportunities we have available.
