Our goal at Ducklington CE Primary School is for every student to achieve their greatest potential in a positive, secure, and stimulating environment. The Christian virtues of respect for one another, friendship, perseverance, and responsibility help realise this ideal. A values-based school is Ducklington CE Primary School. We strongly believe that values are crucial in helping us to makes decisions about how we lead our lives; they are the principles which guide our lives. In our school we 'dare, discover and do' learning from the Bible story of Fishers of Men where Jesus helped the disciples dare to try again, discover Jesus' teachings and do brave things such as cast their nets again even when they had failed before. Our guiding principles have assisted us in creating a supportive culture where each person is appreciated, cherished, and encouraged to realise their full potential. Respect, perseverance, and friendship serve as the foundation for our educational philosophy, which was adopted by the entire school community. Every one of our basic values has a solid biblical foundation, which we help the kids learn about through our curriculum and communal worship. Visit this page to see how Bible stories can help us understand our beliefs and how they can improve our lives. Our children are intelligent, courteous, and enthusiastic learners; our principles are clear and apparent in all we do. Our teachers challenge and inspire our students through our curriculum in order to bring out their best qualities. Every term, we thoroughly examine a new value to see how it will affect both our own lives and that of others. Our staff exemplifies values, which are also discussed by the entire school community, shared with parents, and frequently recognised.
