From the School
The children, staff, parents, governors and I as head teacher are justifiably proud of our small rural village primary school here in North West Leicestershire. Because this a smaller than average school, as a team of professionals,we are able to work flexibly enabling us to assess and cater for each child's needs ensuring that all our children make the best possible progress from their starting points. We value and recognise each person's accomplishments and skills, and we promote independence, resilience, and a positive outlook in all facets of learning. Learning is for life and we are constantly striving to ensure that all children when they are ready to leave us are confident and independent learners who are fully prepared for the next stage in their learning. Our school has a lot going on all the time, and we want to make sure that you have access to the information you need. Visits to our school are always welcome, or you can get in touch with us.

Diseworth school is a hidden gem of an educational setting. It puts the pupils first and provides a well rounded education to all students. There is a real community feeling in the school where pupils of all ages play and learn together leading to excellent learning outcomes. The school offers excellent and affordable wrap around care and first rate facilities and outdoor spaces. I couldn't ask for more from a village school.
