In the centre of Hampstead is Devonshire House Prep School. The school is housed in a beautiful Victorian building with lovely grounds and walled gardens. The Early Years is located at 6 Arkwright Road and begins in the Oak Tree Nursery (ages 2 to 3). Working together according to the Key Person system is the Nursery team. Ages 3-5) are taught in the Pre-Reception and Reception classes at 4 Arkwright Road. There is an instructor and an assistant in every class. All of the kids follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, and specialised teachers teach PE, French, and music to them. At 69 Fitzjohn's Avenue, students in Years 1 to 3 of the Junior School, which serves students aged 5 to 8, are educated. Here, students achieve outstanding development while completing a full curriculum under the guidance of teachers who are experts in games, ICT, music, and French. The Upper School students, in Years 4 through 8, are aged 8 to 13, and are educated in different buildings on the Arkwright Road school campus. They offer teachers who specialise in a wide range of subjects, including Latin, Art, Design, and Technology. They acquire the skills and information required to enrol in a wide selection of London Day Schools and Boarding Schools in this setting.
