From the School
We are a 7–11 junior school that is a part of the Diocese of Norwich Education Academy Trust (DNEAT), and we aim to serve the community by continuing to enhance standards in a caring manner while serving the Dereham neighbourhood. Our newly constructed school has 16 classrooms, a sizable playground, and a field. We have a number of specialised teaching locations that are used for small group work and interventions in addition to the classrooms and huge school hall. The school offers four classes for each year group and about 450 students overall. The school has spent money on class sets of LearnPads, computers, and a dedicated ICT suite because it is dedicated to giving the kids the skills they need for the 21st century. We have a multipurpose room that is used for lunch, P.E., drama/music shows, assemblies, and extracurricular events (e.g. breakfast club). The school's outside facilities include a sizable playground, an animal enclosure, a field with playing pitches, and a quiet space. We maintain an ongoing programme of decoration and repair in an effort to enhance the internal and external learning environment. As we work within DNEAT in our successful effort to increase standards and to meet the evolving demands of the curriculum, providing the school with the resources it needs to fulfil present and future needs is a top priority for us. We have high requirements for the kids' academic performance as well as their overall behaviour. The school encourages each student to strive for personal excellence, and we want them to take pride in their accomplishments.
