From the School
De Salis Studio College, which opened its doors to its first group of students in September 2014, would like to extend a warm welcome on behalf of its primary sponsor, The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust. This particular specialty provider only works with young people between the ages of 14 and 19 who have a sincere interest in the world of business and trade. The Academy Trust is in a good position to ensure that De Salis maintains its innovative approach, one that blends high-quality education with creative project-based activities that extend outside of the classroom and into the larger business community, by building on the studio school model. Students who attend De Salis continue to earn credentials in the traditional core disciplines, like English, Math, and Science, in addition to a wide range of other subjects that give them useful business and commerce skills as they pursue their chosen career path. The specialised courses are taught in a setting that, both structurally and aesthetically, mirrors the business world. To ensure that the young people involved may acquire the abilities, encounters, and credentials essential to succeed in all spheres and at all levels of business, a considerable investment has been made in renovating the structures.
