Cuxton Community Infant School

Small village schools, Cuxton Schools are located in a lovely setting. Built initially as an infant school in 1905, it has since been expanded. In our archives, we still have the previous admission records, discipline books, and headteacher diaries. The Junior school, established in 1968, is located on the same property. On September 1, 2014, both schools converted to academies, and they now function as a single primary school under the direction of the headteacher. A significant construction project to connect the two buildings and add capacity for both the Early Years and Key Stage 2 classes got underway in December 2015. The Buzz breakfast, after school and holiday club are situated on our site, allowing parents to drop children off in a safe environment at 7.45am and collect at 6pm if they wish after the school day. Our main goal is to create a friendly atmosphere that encourages a love of learning. We put a lot of effort towards maximising each person's potential through academic and other accomplishments, as well as increasing self-worth and confidence. You'll always be successful if you feel successful. Parental involvement is essential, and we fully think that working in conjunction with parents is in our children's best interests. Achievement, respect, and enjoyment are our guiding principles. Everyone only gets one shot at childhood, so cherish it while you can.
