Thanks for visiting Cumwhinton Primary School.
We are a rural primary school (4–11) located in Cumwhinton, a picturesque community just outside of Carlisle.
Every student at Cumwhinton is encouraged to identify and develop his or her unique skills and abilities through a challenging curriculum that goes above and beyond the requirements of the core national curriculum and includes global, athletic, and creative arts components.
We are committed to helping all of our students succeed and be happy.
The advantage of Cumwhinton Primary School is that it is situated in lovely grounds with a fantastic playing field and community play area that kids can use during break times and their PE courses.
We are quite proud of our learning environment and use it to both encourage study and recognise accomplishments.
Finally, we encourage family and teamwork, which is ingrained in our school's character.
We think that when home and school cooperate for the good of the kids, they learn the most.
