Greetings from the students, staff, and governors on behalf of our school community. On the outskirts of Colne town centre, we are a volunteer aided, Church of England primary school with one form entry. We have strong ties to both the neighbourhood and our church. Our mission is to give every kid a top-notch education in a loving, Christian environment. The family feeling that feels almost "tangible" is one of the first things visitors to the school mention. Regardless of a child's talents, skills, or requirements, we are dedicated to fostering and developing their individual potential. Our educational programme is created to actively engage, thrill, and inspire our students. To make learning more "vivid" and "real," we frequently arrange field trips, welcome many people into the classroom, and organise "themed" days. As a school, we truly believe that tight collaboration between home and school is the only way we can provide the best outcomes for our students. We are proud to have achieved several high profile awards including, National Healthy School status, a Learning Excellence 'innovative practice' award for our work on Inclusion and a 'good practice' award for Pupil Power. Most recently, we received the Basic Abilities Quality Mark, demonstrating our dedication to giving students the fundamental English and math skills they need to succeed. Please come see us if you haven't been if you haven't already been to Christ Church. I'm happy to have you. To schedule a time to see us "in action," call the number provided.
