"Values enable me to be the best version of myself," Year 2 student. At College Road, we adhere to the ideas of values-based education, which aims to advance an educational philosophy based on respecting oneself, others, and the environment by taking into account a lexicon of moral concepts. We consider values to be guiding principles for our behaviour. At College Road, we want to encourage everyone in the school and the larger community to practise good human qualities including tolerance, respect, appreciation, and acceptance. Our school's ethos is built on these core values, which enable students to be reflective learners and ensure their spiritual, moral, social, and cultural understanding. As a result, students can develop their own moral compass to determine what is right or wrong and, in the end, grow up to be responsible citizens. Therefore, our work to actively promote the core British Values of democracy, individual liberty, respect for one another, and tolerance of people of different faiths, ethnicities, and cultures is guided by our values philosophy.
