Located in the centre of Sowerby Bridge, Christ Church CE (VA) Junior School is a tiny junior school for kids ages 7 to 11. The feeder school, Tuel Lane Infant School, and we are closely connected. The Ellison Memorial School was demolished to make way for the current building, which included an addition of classrooms in 2004. The school is located in a one-story structure. There are five classrooms, three libraries, a main hall, and a kitchen where we prepare lunches for the students. We are fortunate to have large outside spaces that provide for countless outdoor learning opportunities. There are two playgrounds on these grounds, along with a sizable grassy area that is utilised for a variety of sports. Additionally, there is a wooden exercise trail, a raised vegetable garden, and a wildlife area with our pond.
