I offer you a very warm welcome to our school. Choosing the right school for your child is an enormous decision and I hope this website will provide you with sufficient information to decide whether Bournside is a place that is suited to your child. I have been fortunate enough to spend the past seven years of my career at the school and it is a truly remarkable place.
My educational philosophy centres around two main principles. First, that every student is unique and has particular strengths, talents and areas in which they are able to develop and grow. Secondly, that all students should feel successful in their learning and have an entitlement to learn in a safe, stimulating, inclusive environment, supported by highly committed and motivated staff, in order to achieve their potential and prepare effectively for adult life.
I am a firm believer in making our school open to prospective parents/carers and invite you to come and spend some time with me and see our school on a normal school day.
Please telephone (01242) 235555 to make an appointment or simply email [email protected]
Having taught and led in a variety of other schools across the county and country, when I drive or cycle to school each day, I know that I am incredibly privileged to be coming to a very special place.
