In a collaborative effort, The Cedars Primary School seeks to offer its students a secure, encouraging, and challenging atmosphere that will help to foster self-worth and respect and enable them to reach their greatest potential in preparation for the future. Children with social, emotional, and mental health challenges attend The Cedars, a special school. The London Borough of Hounslow, which maintains the school, accepts students between the ages of four and eleven. We offer a welcoming environment that is both challenging and supportive. Our goal is to give our kids the opportunities and tools they need to succeed and thrive in school, at home, and in the community. We do this by combining good teaching, family involvement, and behaviour management techniques. Encourage all students to attain their greatest potential, regardless of their aptitude, cultural background, ethnic origin, or disability. Prepare students for the experiences, obligations, and possibilities of living in a changing world. Create techniques that help kids comprehend and control their own feelings and behaviour. Each child needs assistance in recognising and acknowledging the social, emotional, or behavioural issues they are experiencing, as well as learning effective coping mechanisms. Create a safe, stable, and loving environment for each kid so that they can flourish and develop as individuals. Enhance each child's perception of himself or herself by fostering their self-esteem and confidence both within and outside of the classroom. Create positive attitudes of support and cooperation with the child, family, and home. Give kids of all abilities and learning styles the opportunity to acquire a variety of learning skills in all facets of the National Curriculum.
