From the Cambridge Tutors College
The independent sixth form college Cambridge Tutors College (CTC London), established in 1958, places a strong emphasis on a holistic learning experience. It does this by fostering greater aptitude and a well-rounded character in every student who enters our doors, regardless of their nationality, background, or religion, and by preparing them for future adult life.
Our campus, a small but cosy haven of academic achievement, is tucked away in the seclusion of Park Hill.
The students from over 25 different nations can learn and develop in a delightful and typically British environment at its core, an old English country house.
CTC provides a top-notch selection of GCSE and A-Level courses, and our dedication to students' wellbeing and success is supported by a customised approach to our teaching and mentoring that gives a wide range of worthwhile learning possibilities.
The countless joyful, self-assured, and well-balanced students that graduate from CTC as well as our long-standing stability in good academic performance are proof that this particular strategy has achieved fantastic success year after year.
For instance, 56% of the A-Level exams taken at our College in 2015 resulted in an A or A* grade.
The majority of CTC students in 2015 opted to continue their education at Russell Group Universities, which are the top 24 universities in the UK, including Oxford and Cambridge. Many of these students chose to study medicine, biosciences, mathematics, economics, finance, architecture, law, and engineering.
We have gained a reputation for having high academic standards and a welcoming atmosphere that has attracted students between the ages of 15 and 19 from as far away as China, Vietnam, Russia, and Nigeria, in addition to numerous students from the UK and Europe.
Please look through our ISI inspection reports, academic achievements, and prestigious university destinations if you want to learn more about CTC.
We hold a number of open days throughout the year, and you can schedule a meeting with Dr. Chris Drew, our principal, to take a campus tour.
