Despite being in a picturesque setting on the outskirts of Burnham Beeches, a well-known historic woods made famous by Harry Potter among others, Caldicott is only 30 minutes from west London and 20 minutes from Heathrow.
Parents have referred to it as the best positioned boarding and day prep school for boys in southeast England, with 40 acres of exceptional grounds in Farnham Royal, south Buckinghamshire.
Some have referred to Caldicott in recent years as one of the top prep schools in the nation, but its founder, Mr. J. Heald Jenkins, created an attitude that informs how we approach the education we offer.
According to him, a prep school education should provide each child with a great deal of attention to his needs, a wide variety of opportunities in the arts and study, creative teaching methods, and lots of sports.
In Year 7 and Year 8, all boys board, and in September 2018, Year 5 and 6 will also have the choice to board.
The majority of boys graduate at age 13 to the best independent senior schools with excellent grades and regularly win academic, athletic, musical, artistic, dramatic, and "all-rounder" accolades.
The mission of Caldicott is to create men who grow and flourish in all respects via an education that puts each boy's wellbeing first.
On their website, the Friends of Caldicott provide more information.
