The Oxford Diocesan Schools' Trust includes Burford Primary School as an academy. When we joined this multi-academy trust in October 2015, it was as a new member. Our aim to deliver exceptional education, with high expectations for all students to achieve to their full potential, within a supportive and respectful school community, is at the core of this relationship. With the help of our mission statement, "Respect, Aspire, Achieve," we hope to offer all Burford Primary students exceptional learning opportunities and experiences that will prepare them to be successful lifelong learners who contribute positively to society. The academic rigour, pastoral care, and close collaboration with parents provided by all staff members enable students to flourish academically, socially, culturally, and spiritually. The curriculum, which promotes equality of opportunity and is taught in a secure and stimulating environment, is further strengthened by the availability of extended hours, outdoor learning, and a wide range of extracurricular activities that encourage students to discover new interests and talents, effectively preparing them for the next phase of their education.
