From the Broughton Junior School
On the outskirts of the centre of Aylesbury, there is a bustling two-form entry junior school called Broughton Junior School. At Broughton Junior School, we have high standards for both the faculty and the students, and we value each individual equally. We work hard to ensure that our kids' education is thorough, interesting, and enjoyable. We also value and appreciate all the kids' dedication and hard work in school. We are fortunate that Broughton Junior School is situated on a sizable campus. Our grounds are open and include a pleasant courtyard area for picnicking during the warmer months, a play meadow with physical play equipment, and a sizable garden area that offers additional learning opportunities for our students. On the same campus, our "partner" infant school is located across from us, which facilitates the transition between critical phases. We provide a variety of after-school groups in addition to a residential trip for students in grades three and five. Our curriculum is interesting and built on books, and James Carter, our resident author and official Patron of Reading, helps us stand out from the competition. Our curriculum is broad and balanced which gives opportunity for the children to showcase their talents in other areas of education, we do this by having the support of specialist teachers in languages and sport, together with access to the latest technologies. Develop an amazing learning community is one of our school's goals, and we work to make this a reality through relationships with the local community, parents, governors, and other school partnerships. On behalf of the Broughton Junior School team I would be delighted in welcoming you into our school, please do not hesitate to get into contact with us via the school office. ([email protected]).
