At Brockenhurst CE Primary School our vision is to inspire, sustain and develop high quality teaching and learning; with excellent behaviours and safety for all, founded on Christian values. The nurturing and care of every child is something we are enthusiastic about at Brockenhurst C of E Primary School. All kids are respected here. We take children's safety and wellbeing seriously. To ensure that every kid achieves their full potential, we recognise and remove obstacles to learning. We create learners who are resilient, introspective, and resourceful and who understand the value of deep connections. Children are taught to be critical, creative, and evaluative thinkers who consider their own value systems in order to become competent, independent learners. Through coaching, we create positive change and determine learning's next steps. We provide all kids with equal opportunity. Our students make wise decisions that enable them to live long, happy lives. We teach our kids to value diversity and celebrate cultural differences. We explore the use of new technologies and celebrate their life-enhancing qualities whilst maintaining a responsible attitude to on-line involvement, and ensuring that the children are able to keep themselves and others secure. We build relationships with all parents and carers that are supportive of one another so that we can collaborate effectively to raise a kid to adulthood. Using our local environment to support learning enables us to develop in the children a positive wonderment for the beauty of the New Forest and the natural world, and the importance of conservation and sustainability. Children are encouraged to pose difficult questions, take risks, and learn from their errors.
