From the Broad Hinton Church of England Primary School
a village school tucked away in the Wiltshire Downs, a region of exceptional natural beauty. We were established in 1743 by affluent local family member Thomas Benet, and the Local Authority took control of us roughly a century later. We take great satisfaction in the warm, familial environment we foster for our community, parents, and kids. We give all of our kids, including gifted kids and those with special needs, the chance to study and succeed in a joyful, secure, orderly, and Christian atmosphere. We take great pride in the fact that generations of students have graduated from Broad Hinton School with a love of learning and a solid foundation for later education and adulthood. Within a learning environment that recognises the contributions of parents, governors, the church, and the larger community, we encourage students to grow as creative, imaginative, and responsible individuals. The school has excellent facilities, as a result of a recent major building programme, and prides itself on its ability to offer a rich and diverse curriculum, with extensive extra-curricular opportunities, including sporting, musical and creative activities. Unusually, we think we've managed to blend chances from "big school" institutions with the "little school" attitude.
