The programme is thoughtfully designed. It offers exciting experiences for students both inside and outside of the classroom. Staff members recognise the individuality of each student and go out of their way to meet their pastoral and academic requirements. Together, teachers and teaching assistants provide outstanding support, especially for the least talented students and those who are new to the school. Being the head teacher of such a welcoming, family-oriented school with joyful, passionate students in the community of Bowness-on-Solway makes me feel really pleased. We are at the beginning (or end depending on your viewpoint) of Hadrian's Wall and are lucky to be in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Solway Firth which continues to inspire our learning. Your children are our top priority, and each student receives the proper education thanks to our comprehensive and rich curriculum. This is because of our unique strategy, in which we collaborate with parents and the larger community to guarantee that our kids' diverse skills and talents are acknowledged and fostered while being driven to the greatest standards. All of our students should reach their full potential, but we also want to preserve their uniqueness as Bowness children who are courteous and kind. You can read the intriguing remarks made by Ofsted on this page, but you'll really get a sense of the school at its best if you visit. Visit us to meet our amazing, imaginative kids and our smart, personable staff.
