Welcome to the Bovingdon Primary Academy website, which has been created to enlighten parents and provide newcomers with information about our school, the people who work there, our board of governors, and the kids.
Our school had an excellent rating in both of its Ofsted inspections in 2005 and 2008 before turning into an academy in July 2011.
Additionally, we have won numerous honours for excellence at the national and local levels.
The school was designated as a National Support School in 2010.
The National College of School Leadership granted us Teaching School Status in 2011, making us one of the country's first schools to receive this distinction.
Our academy strives to provide a high-quality education for all of our students, underpinned by a caring ethos, and offers people stimulating intellectual and creative challenges as well as a variety of opportunities to achieve personal excellence. We remain fully committed to continuous improvement.
In the science, literacy, and numeracy assessments at the end of the key stage, our students routinely obtain great marks.
Develop and implement a curriculum that is both unique and creative, with high expectations for progress.
We firmly think that a tight cooperation should be established between the faculty, parents, and students.
We want to make sure that our school is a place where all students can be successful, challenged, and able to contribute on an individual basis.
We therefore cordially encourage you to visit us and look forward to your arrival in the near future, whether you are an existing or potential parent, or whether you are interested in working at our academy.
