In addition to offering a safe, secure, and comfortable setting where people care about one another and their shared environment, Bishop David Sheppard CE Primary School provides an engaging, inspiring, stimulating, and joyful learning environment.
Children continue to be at the centre of everything we do, and our goal to ensure that Following Jesus, Together We Succeed is what motivates us to go forward while continuously aiming for excellence in all facets of school life.
We are a primary school with a single form of entry and Buttons' Nursery, which accepts students starting at age 2.
We want our kids to graduate from Bishop David Sheppard with the greatest possible marks in all subject areas, including science, math, and English.
Our team is committed to offering a wide range of opportunities for our students to realise their full potential as well as to develop the values, attitudes, and interpersonal skills necessary for them to function as responsible members of society.
Everyone in our school community has high expectations for themselves and one another, and our faculty wants to create a centre of excellence that caters to everyone's needs and is a place where, in the words of Jesus, "Following Jesus, Together We Succeed."
Gospel ideals guide everything we do at Bishop David Sheppard Primary since we are a church school.
While minimising the effects of the materialistic world in which we live on their lives, we work to instil in our children a realisation of their own sense of spirituality and an appreciation of the necessity for a moral dimension to life.
Christian ideals are highlighted while a celebration of our diverse society emphasises inclusion.
Children have the time and space during the school day to develop their connection with God and have those encounters with His kindness that change their lives.
We are proud of Buttons, our two-year-old nursery, which was inaugurated in September 2013 and was deemed outstanding in every way by Ofsted.
