From the The Bicester School
On August 1, 2015, we officially opened as The Bicester School, a respected educational provider situated in Oxfordshire that also operates FE Colleges, UTCs, a Studio School, and an 11–18 Secondary School.
Prior to becoming Bicester Community College, we worked assiduously to establish a solid reputation for quality in everything we did.
We are regarded by parents and kids as a school that will go above and beyond to ensure the success of its students.
The motto of our school is "Aspire and Achieve."
This simply means that we want every one of our kids to be driven, inquisitive, and resilient in whatever they do.
We received a score of "Good" in every area during our initial Ofsted inspection in May 2014, and we again received a score of "Good" during our most recent Ofsted inspection in June 2018.
Since 2015, we have kept building on our GCSE results, with English, Math, and Science achievement all increasing in 2018.
We truly take professional pride in whatever we do.
We are committed to preparing our kids for the future.
Our employees are dedicated to and enthusiastic about their work.
We all adhere to the same educational philosophy, which is based on the idea that each student is valuable in their own right and deserves the opportunity to learn in a setting that is quiet, orderly, focused, and secure so that everyone can reach their full potential.
The core of this is teaching and learning.
Every day of the week, in every classroom, excellent and excellent teaching is taking place, fostering students' love, interest, and curiosity in all subjects—not just the ones they are naturally good at or excel at.
Our pupils must fundamentally have a positive attitude of wanting to offer their own best in every lesson, even when the learning is at times difficult and tough. It is not simply our personnel who are accountable for cultivating this motivation in learning.
The ability to persevere and the desire to take on new difficulties are both necessary for success in life.
We understand the profound and significant influence that parents have on their children's aspirations, attitudes, and accomplishments, and we appreciate their support in this vital task.
Our purpose at The Bicester School is to work in conjunction with our parents, and we are eager to further this through our recently established "parent voice."
This website, I hope, will offer you a taste of some of the things we do at The Bicester School.
