Children in Reception to Year 6 who are in school get childcare and entertaining activities at the Holiday Club. The club is open every break from classes (excluding bank holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year). No matter if they attend Berkeley Academy or not, all kids in the neighbourhood are welcome to come along. Children may learn and play in a secure setting while still receiving top-notch care and assistance from our team. For all kids, we provide a diverse selection of enjoyable holiday activities and outings. To accommodate a range of childcare needs, Holiday Club is provided in a number of session options. Prior to each club, themed days and activities are organised and marketed to assist parents in scheduling their job commitments around their children's preferences. Create a joyful, secure, and welcoming environment for all kids and their families. Create a space where kids and teens are encouraged to take charge of their own lives. Respect children's free time as their own, allowing them to engage in enjoyable, freely chosen play. Encourage the kids to take ownership of their behaviours and develop self-control. To make sure that the needs of all children and parents/caregivers are addressed, evaluate and reflect on our work. Along with highlighting their child's successes, parents should also talk about any potential problems.
