Teaching at The Beeches is the practice carried out by all staff to ensure all students acquire knowledge, skills and understanding as they progress through the curriculum designed to meet their special educational needs. This practise is connective, language-focused, and multi-sensory. The process of learning enables pupils to advance their knowledge, abilities, and comprehension to the point where they have internalised and applied what has been taught. Staff members will organise and encourage the learning of new skills and make sure that they are completely applicable and transferrable to the home, the local community, or other future placements. To ensure successful learning and proper accreditation, teaching and learning are done in an environment that is engaging and relevant to all students on the autism spectrum.
