From the Beckingham Primary School
We work hard to create an environment at Beckingham Primary School where everyone feels respected and has the opportunity to reach their full potential. There are roughly 90 students enrolled at Beckingham Primary School, including those who come for the afternoon. In Beckingham, there has been a school for more than a century. Beckingham is a constantly evolving institution that adjusts to the demands of the curriculum. Since there are just four classes in our school, we can offer a warm, family-like environment where each student is treated as an individual. In each class, there are two year groups of kids. At our school, field trips and hands-on learning are significant components of the curriculum. Every class travels to a nearby location, and students in Years 2 to 4 have the option of spending two nights at the YHA in Edwinstowe. Years 5 and 6 students take part in a residential trip to Kingswood, where they can go rock climbing, abseiling, building rafts, and swinging on the big swing. There is a vibrant PTFA here, and everyone is welcome. They offer a variety of family-friendly social and fundraising events. The Governors come frequently to observe classrooms and the students' work in addition to holding up to four meetings per term. We recognise that selecting a school is crucial if you are a parent looking to relocate in the area. Mrs. Elizabeth Moore, the head teacher, will be pleased to address any inquiries you may have. Please take some time to browse our website, but make sure to get in touch with the school to schedule a visit. Please follow the below link to the NSPCC Share Aware website.
