The basic British principles of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and respect for people of all religions and beliefs must be promoted in all schools, according to the DfE, which has lately reaffirmed the need for doing so.
Every year, we observe Remembrance Day, and the Year 6 students lead the KS1 and KS2 students in a moment of silence.
Important national events including the Olympic Games, the Golden Jubilee, and the Royal Wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were all commemorated in schools.
Children in our programme learn about some major figures and historical occurrences in British history.
Every child is treated equitably and has the same access to speaking up and having their opinions heard.
We gave every student in the school the chance to create our motto, "Believe."
Respect is the foundation of our school principles, which are frequently reaffirmed in lectures, assemblies, and in how we respond to instances of unacceptable behaviour.
Children have numerous chances during the school day to make decisions and exercise their personal independence.
The ability of kids to control their own behaviour and make wise decisions is supported and encouraged.
Children learn about their personal freedoms through assemblies and PSHE, and they participate in conversations about how to exercise them properly, such as through e-safety and road safety.
Children are given the chance to make decisions about their education, a variety of staff-led clubs, and playtime activities.
Because they recognise that all children have the right to learn and flourish in an environment of mutual respect, children like classes, are engaged learners, and behave well.
Through our Behaviour Policy and school regulations, the school reiterates its commitment to promoting respect for others.
Through our academic programme, we actively look for ways to help students better comprehend how they fit into a multicultural community.
