A good small school where teachers care about and know their students well. Some good teachers, who are inspiring. Especially good with science, drama, art, history and PRE
Our 2 children have recently joined Avanti Hall after moving from a large primary school. They are settling in surprisingly well, supported by the gentle and kind nature of all the staff but still enjoying being academically challenged. Overall not a cohesive happy school. Some wonderful staff but overall moral is low. More additional needs amongst pupils than other Exeter schools. Beautiful grounds but much of it fenced off so not used by the children. Great SEN team but overwhelmed. No wood/metal work, no food tech, no sports field. Vegetarian meals only. Not many teaching assistants.
