In Burngreave, North-East Sheffield, Astrea Academy Sheffield is housed in the former Grade II-listed Pye Bank Board School structure. I'm honoured to steer the academy on a quick path to success for the kids and teens we serve and to watch them thrive while in our care. As a member of the Astrea Academy Trust, we do not adhere to the conventional idea of "schooling," where everything is results-driven. Although Astrea students will excel in the classroom, education is so much more than just academic achievement. We believe in an education that 'inspires beyond measure' and to deliver this, we focus on encouraging and nurturing resilience, empathy, aspiration, contribution and happiness in all of our students.
