I am happy to welcome you to Ashmount School as its headteacher. Ashmount is a special school for students with a variety of special educational needs between the ages of 4 and 19. Our students now have access to a variety of specialised facilities, including a heated swimming pool, multi-sensory and soft play rooms, dedicated art, music, and cooking rooms, as well as a large playground, thanks to our January 2014 move to our new building on the Charnwood College campus in Loughborough. Together, our highly motivated staff, governors, parents, and carers make sure that our students have the highest learning outcomes possible. The high levels of personal growth our students make each year are proof that our strategy is effective. The whole curriculum of courses that would be offered to our students in traditional classrooms is made available to them, along with a wide choice of extracurricular activities that foster the growth of their independence and interpersonal and social skills. I hope you have fun browsing our website and finding out more about our institution.
