I extend a warm greeting to you on behalf of the faculty, staff, and governors at the Archbishop of York's CE Junior School. We are a welcoming, inclusive family school with a strong Christian ethos, a sense of community and a commitment to excellence for all children in our care. We want to make sure that every one of our kids is excited about their educational experiences and feels safe, secure, and confident. We achieve this by fostering each child's individuality, attending to their specific requirements, and providing them with as many opportunities as we can for success. Because we think that's what God wants from us, we want every child to be able to make a significant contribution to the world and to be the best version of themselves. On November 1st, 2018, we joined the South York Multi Academy Trust and became an academy (SYMAT). Through this exciting development, a solid partnership serving our local communities has been built by utilising the ability, expertise, and dedication of people working in these schools. This distinctive Trust is the result of nearly twenty years of teamwork. I hope this website gives you a sense of who we are and how we operate.
