Popular rural school Amport Church of England (Aided) Primary School is located about 4 miles south-west of Andover in the Amport parish in north-west Hampshire.
The institution, which opened its doors for the first time in 1815, has a remarkable history.
Children in the parish were intended to receive an education when the school was first established.
It was founded as a Church of England school and today serves students of all faiths—including atheism—as well as Christian students.
Our essential Christian values of Truth, Trust, Forgiveness, and Love have been accepted by the students, teachers, parents, and governors of Amport School.
Our spirituality and these fundamental Christian values serve as the foundation for our goal.
We accept students and families of Christian religion as well as those of other faiths and no faith because we are a Church of England school.
We examine Christian ideals in order to further our grasp of the Christian religion.
Parents help us in everything we do and accomplish as a team, and staff and kids put in a lot of effort.
Our school is a place where we strive to live out our basic Christian principles every day. We are proud of our school and of everyone who learns and develops here.
Parents' assistance is greatly appreciated and welcomed.
Additionally to curriculum evenings, regular parent consultation sessions are provided to enlighten parents.
The members of the governing body are very dedicated, supportive, and interested in all facets of the school. They frequently assist in the classroom.
In the neighbourhood and beyond, the school enjoys a very positive reputation.
Since the parish clergy frequently visits the school to participate in Collective Worship, the link between the local church and the school is particularly strong.
There are numerous visits to the church throughout the year for special services, festivals, and assistance with the RE programme.
We have a wonderful relationship with the padres at Amport House and are blessed to be asked to worship with them, celebrate with them, visit their beautiful gardens, and even host events for them throughout the year.
