Zion Community Preschool

Zion Neighborhood Preschool, founded in 2005, is situated in the heart of Frampton Cotterell and the community. All children from the age of two until they start school are welcome at our facility, which is located close to many neighbourhood primary schools.
We are a non-profit preschool that is managed by a committee of parents. Zion's approach is always child-focused because it is run by parents, allowing parents the opportunity to get active and hands-on in many areas.
Our kids have access to a gated outside play area and a staffed healthy "snack bar." We focus our learning on themes through exercises like cooking, reading, and sketching. We also have a "Book of the Month" where we emphasise the theme and support the kids' own interests. Importantly, we think that our kids benefit from play-based learning as well.
Victoria has more than 20 years of experience working in nurseries and holds a variety of certifications, including Level 3 Childcare and Safeguarding.
In September 1999, Natalie began working at Zion Preschool after receiving her NNEB certification. She coordinates special education needs and disabilities and is also certified in first aid and child safety.
Rachael began working at the preschool more than 4 years ago and has now earned her Level 3 in Childcare. Rachael is skilled in first aid and enjoys expanding the pre-school garden in addition to creative pursuits.
Our lead for health and safety is Kerry, who joined Zion in 2018. Kerry has a Level 3 in Childcare and First Aid training.
