Welcome to Alderbrook!
Children are at the centre of all we do; we work hard every day to positively impact each and every student and member of the school community by providing them with the resources they need to succeed in life.
The global epidemic we have been dealing with has significantly altered the teaching scene (along with the rest of the globe), and I am now in my fourth year as head teacher at Alderbrook.
This entire process has demonstrated the value of high-quality education as well as the function that educational institutions play in society.
I was moved by the dedication and perseverance of the Alderbrook staff during the past two years of constant upheaval. They handled it with grace and tried to keep things as normal as possible so that the kids could feel comfortable and secure in their neighbourhood.
The children's tenacity during the pandemic, embracing and adjusting to the changes and trials they have endured, has also astounded me.
We are very appreciative of the parents' and caregivers' support and gratitude, which kept us going during difficult times and is more proof of the fantastic community we have here at Alderbrook.
It is vitally important to develop curricula that will teach kids how to contribute positively to the constantly evolving global community in which we live.
The foundation of all of our learning at Alderbrook is making sure that kids have the abilities and mentality necessary to navigate their futures.
