For kids and teenagers with severe learning difficulties or other complicated challenges, as well as their families, we offer play projects.
Our goal is to make our children's lives easier and better through play, dependable care, and a comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere.
We have been operating since 2006 and now have a permanent location; we have been situated in the Yorda Playhouse since 2016.
To help our young people and their families, we run a variety of play, care, and family projects.
We design each of our activities specifically for the kids in our care.
The Yorda Playteam are committed to meeting every childs needs and supporting families through their journey.
We all think that playing has power.

The Starfish Story is really important to our Founder and CEO, Laura Smyth.
Starting as a tiny social enterprise back in 2006, fast forward to now and the Yorda team continues to grow and offer a variety of projects to support children and young people with significant learning disabilities and their families, making a difference everyday.
