Thank you for visiting Wynyard CE Primary School. I sincerely hope you enjoy learning a little bit more about our school community. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. After five incredibly fulfilling years as headteacher at Esh CE Primary School in Durham, I was extremely fortunate to be given the chance to expand and improve Wynyard CE Primary. Leading Wynyard CE through its pre-opening stage and into its new school opening in September 2015 has been a tremendous experience. We launched with the intention of delivering a community school that would give kids a wide range of activities in addition to a top-notch education. A growing school, we are. We started off in September 2015 with just 16 students and now have over 250 students enrolled, a number that will continue to increase over time. In order to make Wynyard Church of England Primary School successful today and in the future, we are developing a school community with the unwavering enthusiasm, vision, drive, and adaptability required. After spending the previous three and a half years in temporary structures, we are extremely happy to have moved into our brand-new school on January 15. Please schedule a visit with the school office if you would like to come and take a look around.
