Wymeswold Playgroup

For more than 40 years, Wymeswold Playgroup has been looking after and educating kids. We are a recognised charity that is governed by a committee of parents working with paid help. We are Pre-School Learning Alliance members and registered with Ofsted.
We provide childcare and preschool education for kids from 2 years old to school age at our location in Wymeswold Memorial Hall in Wymeswold hamlet. Wymeswold Primary School and we are also in close contact.
Our goal at Wymeswold Playgroup is to give kids a welcoming, nurturing setting where they can feel secure. We provide a range of activities that are specifically created to foster each child's individual development. Our kids spontaneously and easily reach their social, emotional, and physical milestones via cooperative and creative play.
By adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, we hope to provide high-quality care and education while allowing our young charges to grow and learn in an enjoyable setting. Children can explore their self-awareness and develop an understanding of the world around them when they are exposed to a variety of environments and learning opportunities.

The playgroup committee puts a lot of effort into planning events throughout the year, such as our annual summer dance, the Wymeswold Duck Races, the Christmas Fair, and the Easter egg hunt, to name a few.
