To ensure that students graduate from school ready for life in contemporary Britain, we aggressively promote British values in schools in accordance with The Department for Education.
Students are urged to treat people of various faiths, races, and cultures with respect and tolerance, and to recognise that while individuals may have varying opinions about what is good and wrong, everyone who resides in England is bound by the laws of that country.
In order to prepare pupils for life in contemporary Britain, we instil in them the fundamental beliefs and behaviours known as British Values through the school's ethos and curriculum.
Children at Redhill are expected to value and contribute to their community while also being respectful and empathic.
We encourage kids to be accountable to our school's community.
In particular, as described below, British Values are promoted throughout the school curriculum and in other aspects of school life.
GOVERNING LAW: Redhill has very high expectations for behaviour, and kids are aware that following the rules will keep us safe, happy, and enable us to learn.
Our PSHE programme places a special emphasis on building citizenship and following the law.
Individual Liberty: Redhill Primary students came up with the Redhill Rights, which explicitly outline the rights of every pupil.
We consistently emphasise rights and duties at the school, national, and worldwide levels in our PSHE programme and assemblies.
Through PSHE, assemblies, anti-bullying week events, and our e-safety education, anti-bullying is given great importance.
