Wheathampstead Playgroup Ltd

A community-based preschool offering early childhood education to the village's kids is called Wheathampstead Playgroup. Our goal is to create a fun, secure, and engaging atmosphere where learning may happen via play. This makes it possible for the kids to adhere to a curriculum designed in accordance with the government's Early Years Foundation Stage ("EYFS").
All neighbourhood kids are welcome in the playgroup, and children with special needs are especially welcome (see Admissions Policy). At Playgroup, a healthy food policy is observed.
Wheathampstead Playgroup, which was founded in 1980, has received the 2013 Herts Quality Standards Award, is registered with Ofsted, and is a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance (HQS).
The Playgroup is incorporated as a company called Wheathampstead Playgroup Limited and is a registered charity with the registration number 1118728. (no. 5958735). It is managed by Trustees and the "Friends of Playgroup," a group of volunteer parents.
Wheathampstead Playgroup relocated to new, purpose-built facilities on Nurseries Road in January 2011 from a church hall.
