Whatcombe Farm Nursery

This is Whatcombe Farm Nursery, welcome. We started in January 2018 and provide children ages 2 to 5 with high-quality childcare in a natural environment. We are a small, highly qualified team of teachers that think it's critical to know and care for our kids in order to promote their early development.
With a flexible approach, we enable all of our kids to access the Early Years Foundation Stage framework in the way that works best for them. We encourage kids to learn through play. We encourage our kids to learn with confidence, enthusiasm, and awareness, enabling them to reach their full potential.
We appreciate how important outdoor play is for children's health and wellness. Children always have access to our nursery garden because our nursery entrance is constantly open. In addition, we have daily visits to a forest school where we engage in a mix of child- and adult-led play, as well as daily care for some nursery chicks.
Our dynamic and adaptable plans for activities allow us to cater to the interests of our kids at any given time. Children are also taught about different cultures, traditions, and holidays.
Play is a key way that our kids learn. Opportunities for reading, writing, and counting are constantly available in a lighthearted and informal setting, placing our children's interests at the centre of how we may best get them ready for life in school.
