Whaley Bridge After School Club

Since its founding in 1911, Whaley Bridge Primary School has served as the foundation of the neighbourhood.
I became the headteacher of the school in November 2020, and I'm honoured to contribute to upholding that tradition.
Our school's motto, "Every child a chance to shine," is represented by both our high academic standards and our devoted, nurturing personal care for every student. We take pride in building a friendly, inclusive community.
We are blessed to have beautiful grounds with gardens and trees surrounding them that serve as a haven for wildlife and the ideal setting for our students to explore and cultivate a love of nature.
In order for kids to grow up to be effective young adults who are open to the challenges that lie ahead, we want to create the groundwork for lifelong learning.
We are here to motivate, nurture, and inspire young people to achieve their full potential.
Our comprehensive and well-balanced curriculum follows our curricular drivers and aims to inspire all students to become caring and environmentally conscious, amazing people, and lifelong learners.
At the beginning of each topic, teachers organise motivational ignite days to encourage learning.
At Whaley Bridge, we want to collaborate with families to make sure that every kid has the best possible outcomes.
For students with complex needs who have an EHCP that specifies that they require a more specialised placement, we provide enhanced provision placements.
