Wembley Central Nursery School, formerly Saint Johns Nursery School, has been operating since 2011 and focuses on providing a family-friendly atmosphere for young children to study and develop.
To give your children the greatest start in education, we adhere completely to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
At Wembley Central Nursery School, we want to give the kids a secure setting that is full of love, patience, and compassion so they may develop, learn, remain healthy, and reach their full potential.
Your children will achieve success in all seven areas of learning, development, and care identified by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) thanks to our facilities, variety of resources, and carefully chosen and committed personnel.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) established guidelines for the education, growth, and care of kids from birth to age five.
At Wembley Central Nursery School, we utilise these criteria as the foundation for a variety of enjoyable activities for the nursery kids.
Each child has a designated key person who is in charge of settling them into the nursery, making sure that their education and care are adapted to fit their specific requirements, and developing relationships with the parents/carers to support their development at home.
Wembley Central Nursery School's goal is to support parents/carers in assisting their young children in settling down quickly and effortlessly by taking into account each child's unique requirements and family's unique circumstances.
In the nursery, we want the kids to feel secure, engaged, and content, as well as at ease with all of the staff.
giving each kid and their family a crucial contact before they begin attending.
Depending on the requirements, age, and developmental stage of each person, settling in visits and introduction sessions (lasting around 1-2 hours) should be scheduled over a period of one or two weeks.
In the first several weeks, until the child is calm and the parents/carers feel safe leaving their child, we encourage parents/carers to stay with the child.
Our staff members have received training in identifying the many phases of attachment, and they make use of this understanding to help children and families adjust to the nursery.
