Wem Playmates Nursery

Children have their own profile created on Tapestry, their online learning journal, when they first enrol in Playmates.
This makes it possible for their designated key person to keep tabs on the child's growth and development.
In order to ease their transition to school, this information is also given to the reception teacher.
Prior to starting school, children will meet their Reception Teachers at Wem Playmates. With the help of the key person, they will also visit their new school.
Every Monday, swimming lessons at Wem Swimming Pool are available to kids in the Lion's Den.
During their session, we give the kids a nutritious food.
We have discovered that serving cooked meals to the kids is quite useful to them, and that this can ease their transition into school life at lunchtime.
