Welsh Lane Day Nursery

Our tiny, family-run nursery has separate playrooms for children in the Acorns, Little Oaks, and Oak Trees age groups.
The nursery is authorised to accept a total of 42 children.
After you have submitted our admission form and the 20 registration fee, we will let you know whether or not we have space available for the classes you have selected.
Your child's spot will be reserved once the first month's tuition has been paid in full.
For 51 weeks out of the year, the nursery is open from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday.
We do have a rule requiring kids to come at least two days a week.
A member of the management team and your child's key person will visit your house as part of our home settle visitation service.
This can facilitate the development of a solid bond between you and your child and us.
You can stay with your kid during the first visit to the nursery to fill out the contact information and other consent documents.
You will have the chance to leave your child for an hour and a half during the second visit.
Every child settles in differently, and extra time can be arranged if necessary.
Each child will have a key person allocated to them who will keep tabs on their development, perform personal care duties, and assist with transitions.
Before beginning work at the nursery, every employee must pass a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check.
All of our nursery nurses have an NVQ Level 3 or higher in childcare.
Along with our nursery nurses, we also employ nursery assistants.
Each kid will have their own personal learning notebook that is updated by their key worker using an educational programme called Tapestry.
You can access your child's journal by checking in with a strong username and password.
You can view your child's observations and pictures from their time at the nursery using the Tapestry online learning diary.
The important person can track their children's development using this information.
You can share your opinions and contribute your own observations and photos using Tapestry.
Only your child's learning and development while attending nursery are documented in the journal.
The 2-year-old progress check is completed when your kid turns two, as the name implies, and you can give it to your health visitor at their 24-month checkup.
