Waterside Early Care and Education Centre

The purpose-built Waterside Day Nursery and Preschool is located on Thames Valley Park, a short distance from Reading and the railway. Use the free shuttle service to get dropped off outside the nursery from the station.
The nursery provides big home rooms with access to our safe, extensive garden spaces, which give kids year-round chances to study outside in the fresh air.
We take kids on walks to see the lake and animals, and we offer a soft play area for safe indoor physical activities that all kids may enjoy.
The curriculum developed by Bright Horizons also includes Creative Cooks and Green Gardeners, which provide kids the chance to learn about food via cooking with vegetables they have grown themselves.
Action for Children approves of our great on-site menu's good nutritional balance. There are strong protocols in place regarding allergies, and all dietary restrictions are met.
