Typing's Cool

Sarah and Nick Holt, our primary touch typing instructors, have experience teaching students in the primary and secondary grades in both the public and private sectors.
In 2010, we launched Typing's Cool as after-school groups in two New Malden elementary schools.
Additionally, Typing's Cool has been successfully administered as a summer camp for underprivileged kids on a nearby housing estate.
We now host half-term and holiday clubs in the New Malden Library for kids and teenagers who are unable to attend our weekly activities in schools.
We presently oversee more than a dozen clubs in South West London independent schools.
Using our special combination of physical exercises, entertaining games, individual and group challenges, and a variety of best-in-class software programmes created by educational psychologists, younger kids can learn how to touch type just as well as older kids.
Nick worked with Oxbridge students as a school More Able Pupil co-ordinator before starting his career as a special needs secondary school teacher.
The A1 Assessors qualification allows Nick to instruct at the NVQ level. He is also a seasoned adult trainer for two local authorities.
Cath Heery joined our team in 2016 after working as a key stage 2 teacher at a primary school in Kingston.
Lisa Zimmo graduated with a law degree from Kingston University, where she excelled in the school's martial arts programme.
Since 2015, Hollie Goodridge has been employed by us while also attending Kingston University to study brain biology.
