Our childrens nursery in Herne Bay is situated on Beaumont Street, just a short walk from Hampton Primary School.
Our Forest Class is a wonderful space for children to learn and explore.
Our nursery is open all year round, Monday to Friday, and takes children from 3 months up to 5 years old.
Our Herne Bay nursery is in the perfect central location to accommodate parents and children who live in Canterbury and Whitstable also!.

Located upstairs within the building, The Squirrels room has a separate calm, cosy space, dedicated to caring for babies.
We have a separate Montessori area in which the children are able to have one to one care and teaching with one of our professional Montessori Teachers.
With a door straight into the garden, the children can easily access outdoor play as they wish.
They are taken outside to the garden to play twice a day.
Our garden is separated into four areas, the forest class, the baby garden, the main garden, and a sheltered area directly connected to the Hedgehogs Room.
The classroom also has a toilet block, with low level sinks to encourage and develop the childrens independence.
I have worked for Townsend Montessori Nurseries for around 13 years, starting my journey at Port Regis, as a nursery nurse in the Twos Room, before becoming a Deputy Supervisor in the Babies Room.
After taking a year out, I decided that I would like to return to work and am now Manager of the Herne Bay nursery.
I like working for Townsend Montessori as it has helped me progress even whilst starting a family.
I have worked in childcare for over 10 years and have been working for Townsend for just over a year.
