The Village Nursery

We think that kids learn through play, so our curriculum is play-based and adheres to the Early School and Childcare Unit's criteria for the Foundation Stage in education.
Children learn different ideas via intentional play and activities with adult support. They are also encouraged to share, take turns, and practise independence.
The nursery is a part of the Pre-School Learning Alliance, a group whose mission is to offer the best possible education to children under the age of five.

The daycare centre is glad to welcome kids with special needs, and every effort will be made to integrate them into the regular flow of the sessions.

On the parents' notice board, there is also a book where you can record grievances.
Every session has a minimum of 75% staff members who are qualified in childcare, and a certified first aider is always on hand.
The Greatham Village Nursery School has a DBS check on every employee (formally CRB).
Your child will be assigned to a specific staff member who will serve as your child's first point of contact at nursery school.
The children's transition to nursery school and maintaining continuity for them can be greatly aided by key staff.
Additionally, Key Workers retain records of our child's accomplishments, which you are free to consult at any time.
