Opening its doors in 2003 after a complete building conversiion into a high-quality, purpose-designed nursery by a owner and husband team.
We are divided in to 5 groups, 3 rooms dedicated to under 2's and the first floor is dedicated to 2 & 3 year-old's.
To encourage children to be tolerant & respectful of others, and to value each others moral, social and cultural beliefs.
We aim to provide good quality care in a safe, stimulating environment, in which your childs social, emotional, intellectual & physical needs are met.
Your baby's day will be filled with a wide range of toys, and lots of care and stimulation, and when he or she becomes sleepy, there is a cosy sleep area where your baby can rest in cots or prams.
Staff follow each individual child's daily routines provided by parents on our "All About Me Forms".
We also provide each child with a daily diary which is updated as the day goes on with information to be shared with parents about what there little one has been doing throughout the day, sleep times, eating and activities etc.
We simultaneously adopt the child's "Learning Journey" with the child's progress being monitored by observation and assessments recorded and stored within it for parents to view at any time.
This will follow each child throughout their time at The Rises.
When a child is due to start we ask that parents and their child join us for visits to enable both parent and staff to meet and allow their child to get to know their carer.
This is generally done until the parent feels happy and secure in the knowledge that their little one is ready to be left in our care.
When my daughter first started, I was so nervous about leaving her with a new set of people without the time for visits beforehand.
